Herrin- MAXINE M. STEWART, age 95, of Herrin, passed away at 7:50pm on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.
Maxine was born in Des Moines, Iowa on February 8, 1916, the daughter of Warren and Carrie (King) Judd. She married Corbett Stewart in Seattle, Washington in July of 1946. Together they shared fifty-two years of marriage until his passing on January 20, 1999.
Mrs. Stewart was a member of the Maltby Congregational Church in Maltby, Washington. She was a member of the Eastern Star for more than seventy-five years, joining at the early age of eighteen. Maxine had worked as a data processor at a time when computers were in the very early stages.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law- Marty and Mike Hinz of Goreville, IL
Son and daughter-in-law- Don and Deeann Stewart of Albany, GA
Six grandchildren

Brother- Warren Judd of Livermore, CA
Several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband- Corbett, son- Charlie Stewart, daughter- Donna Kay Norman, and her sister- Betty Isenberger.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will take place at GAR Cemetery in Snohomish, Washington. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with arrangements.
