Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home Lelah Maxine Wright Herrin-Maxine Wright, 80, died 5:35 P.M., Friday, August 15, 2003 at her residence. Maxine was born September 10, 1922 in Goodwill Township, Michigan to Fred & Cora Vera (Branyan) Nestle. She married Herschel Wright on May 7, 1949 in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on May 20, 1992. Survivors Include: Daughter & Son In Law: Kendra & Mark Ross of Carbondale, IL. Daughter & Son In Law: Glenna & Jeff Popham of Hotchkiss, CO. Son In Law: Gary Will of Herrin, IL. Five Grandchildren: Ryan Popham & wife Sarah of West Frankfort, IL. Eric Popham of Rangely, CO. Kate Will of Herrin, IL. Amanda Ross of Carbondale, IL. Jessica Ross of Carbondale, IL. Sister: Leone Richard of White Cloud, MI. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Sherry Will, one brother, Frederick Nestle, and one sister Dorothy Gronso. Graveside Services will be 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at Herrin City Cemetery with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery.
