Melba Adams

Melba Adams, 67, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 9:15 P.M. at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky. Melba was born April 27, 1941 the daughter of Lester & Osie (Phillips) Hall in Coweta, Georgia. She was a member of the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church and the Red Hat Society. Melba volunteered at the TCT Television Station and she worked caring for the elderly. Melba is survived by her; Daughter Sylvia McMichen of Marion Son James McMichen and wife Kathy of Cambria Son Garon Adams and wife Kim of Cobden Eight Grandchildren Three Great Grandchildren and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her fourth great grandchild Preceded by her Parents, Daughter Cynthia Lynn McMichen and Sister Mable White. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. at the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Marion with Rev. Jeff Baker officiating. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. For those who prefer memorials may be made to the Family of Melba Adams.
