Herrin-Mildred Millie Armstrong, 65, of Herrin passed away at 12:15 A.M., Monday, June 13, 2005 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was born December 20, 1939 in Taylorville, Illinois to Arch & Lola (Fisher) Clements. She married Joseph Marvin Armstrong on November 24, 1963 in Taylorville. He survives. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Herrin. She was also a member of the Herrin Newcomers Club. She was a homemaker. Survivors Include: Husband: Joseph Armstrong of Herrin Son & Daughter-In-Law: Mike & Tricia of Paducah, KY. Daughter & Son-In-Law: Tammy & Tom Clawson of Moberly, MO. Two Grandchildren: Katelynn & Jason Armstrong of Paducah, KY. Brother & Sister-In-Law: Donald & Joyce Clements of Morrisonville, IL. Sister & Brother-In-Law: Marie & Ronald Whitlow of Taylorville, IL. Sister & Brother-In-Law: Donna & Ed Neal of Springfield, IL. Also survived by several nieces & nephews She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 16, 2005 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Whitfield officiating. Burial will be at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville, Illinois. Rev. Lonnie & Mrs. Vickie Southern will officiate at the cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Herrin. Memorial envelopes are available at the funeral home.
