Mildred F. Heal

Herrin- Mildred F. Heal, 86, of Herrin, passed away at 11:55pm on Monday July 18, 2005 at Herrin Hospital. Mildred was born July 24, 1918 in Wadesville, IN to F. Dalton and Hattie (Kolb) Owens. She married Charles W. Heal Sr on January 1, 1938 in Vincennes, IN. He survives in Herrin. Mrs. Heal was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Herrin. Mildred was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include- Husband- Charles W. Heal, Sr.- Herrin, IL Son- Charles W. Heal Jr. and wife Ginger- Rochester Hills, MI Son- David Heal and wife Lynne- Lake of Egypt, IL Daughter- Mary Ruth Mygatt and husband William- Anchorage, Alaska 7 grandchildren- Heather and James Morford- Grand Lodge, MI Lance Heal- Sandusky, OH Brandon Heal- Rochester Hills, MI John and Deanna Heal- Lake of Egypt, IL Matthew and Kim Heal- Effingham, IL Scott and Mary Heal- Greensboro, NC Megan Mygatt- Las Vegas, NV 7 great grandchildren Sister- Ruth Stafford- Seymore, IN Preceded by- Parents, grandson-Sean Heal, one brother-Dale Owens, one sister- Mary Owens Local funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday July 22, 2005 at the First Presbyterian Church in Herrin, IL with the Rev. Michael Neubert officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-9pm on Thursday July 21, 2005 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin and one hour before services at the church on Friday. Funeral services will also be held at 11am on Saturday July 23, 2005 at the Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville, IN with Rev. Michael Neubert officiating. Burial will follow at the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Wadesville, IN. There will also be a visitation at the Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville, IN on Friday July 22, 2005 from 6-8pm. Memorial donations may be made to the to the First Presbyterian Church in Herrin and will be accepted at the funeral home.
