Mildred I. Shaw

Herrin- MILDRED IRENE SHAW, age 80, of Taylors, SC, formerly of Herrin, passed away at 6:20am on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at National Health Care Center in Greenville,South Carolina. Mildred was born in Carterville, IL on December 27, 1926, the daughter of Harrison and Martha (Morrison) Colp. She married Frank Shaw in Shawneetown on September 14, 1962. He preceded her in death on October 12, 1980. Mrs. Shaw was a homemaker. She was member of the Christian Life Center in Herrin. Survivors include two daughters and son-in-laws- Barbara and Don Massey of Taylors, SC; and Carmen and Victor Simmons of Wilmington, NC; and two grandchildren- Joshua and Leah Massey. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Frank. Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Oakwood Cemetery in Carterville.
