Mildred M. Rushing

Mildred M. Rushing, 79, died Friday, March 19, 2004 at 12:50 A.M. in her residence. Mildred was born December 30, 1924 to William and Louise (Foss) Moorman in Metropolis. She married Richard A. Rushing on July 05, 1952 in Metropolis and he survives in Marion. Mildred was retired from the Bank of Marion; she was a member of Zion United Church of Christ of Marion, and World Organization of China Painters. Survivors include: Two Sons: Alan Rushing and wife Ann of Marion John Rushing of Marion One Daughter and Son-in-law: Debbie & Steve Meneese of Marion Four Grandchildren: Jon Meneese & Fiance Natalia Anikina of St. Louis Josh Meneese of Tampa Bay, Florida Ellie Rushing of Perryville, Missouri Karen Rushing of Marion One Sister: Blanche Verbarg of Metropolis Several nieces and nephews Preceded by: Parents, Four Brothers, Fred, John, Roy, Ernest Moorman and One Sister, Marie Kotter Graveside services will be Monday, March 22, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Freedom Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Kramer officiating. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of arrangements. For those who prefer, memorials may be made to Zion United Church of Christ or Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery or at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, 800 North Market Street, Marion.
