Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home Minnie C. Scolari-Obituary Herrin-Minnie C. Scolari, 91, died 5:35 A.M., Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at her residence. Minnie was born October 24, 1911 in Herrin to Tony & Maria (Branca) Scolari. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. She was retired from the Olin Corportation. Survivors Include: Niece: Janet Ross of Wheaton, IL. Three Great Nephews: James Scolari of Pensacola, FL. Mark Ross & wife Holly of Austin, TX. Michael Scolari & wife Nicole of Wichita, KS. One Great Niece: Julie Townsend & husband Bobby of Lisle, IL She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Louis & Ernest Scolari and one infant brother, Ernest Scolari. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 16, 2003 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church with Msgr. Ken Schaeffer officiating. Burial will follow at San Carlo Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Cabrini Hall. Memorial envelopes are available at the funeral home.
