Johnston City- MYRTLE E. (CASH) HARPER, age 95, of Marion, passed away at 3:30am on Saturday November 12, 2005 at Herrin Hospital.
Myrtle was born in Williamson County on August 14, 1910 to James Samuel Sam Cash and Minnie (Kelly) Cash. She married Dow Harper in Williamson County on November 25, 1933. Dow owned Harpers Feed Mill in Herrin from 1956 until he preceded her in death on August 24, 1984.
Mrs. Harper was a homemaker. She and her son, James R. Bud Harper, ran a dairy operation in Johnston City. Myrtle worked at the dairy farm until 1997.

Funeral services for Mrs. Harper will be held at 11:00am on Tueday November 15, 2005 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion, IL with the Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will follow at the Cana Cemetery in Goreville. Visitation will be held from 9am until 11am on Tueasday November 15, 2005 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
