Nadine Williams

Marion Nadine Williams, 84, passed away on Monday, April 07, 2008 at 12:30 A.M. at her home. Nadine was born in Williamson County on February 1, 1924 the daughter of Herbert and Donna (McCombs) Edwards. She married Edward Williams on May 11, 1940 in Charleston, Missouri. They shared forty-one years of marriage until his death on December 4, 1981. Survivors include- Her mother- Donna Edwards of Marion, IL Three Daughters- Kathy and Jack Mullins of Wilmington, NC Margie Williams of Marion, IL Linda Sue and Larry Ferguson of Coats, NC Twenty-Two Grandchildren Fifteen Great Grandchildren One Great Great Grandchild Three brothers- Jimmie Edwards of Ohio Jesse Edwards of Whiteash, IL Jerry L. Edwards of Marion, IL One Sister- Alma Lou Edwards- Herrin, IL Nadine was preceded in death by her father, her husband- Edward, one son- Eugene Williams, Jr., one daughter- Minnie Ruth Roman, and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Higgs officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. For those who prefer memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
