Nancy S. Sullins, 75, of Marion, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 10:20 pm at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
Nancy was born September 19, 1941 in Murphysboro the daughter of Walter Martin and L. Lucille (Jeter) Doty. She married Lloyd Sullins on June 13, 1959 in Cedar Grove “Dog Walk” and together they have shared over 57 years of marriage.
She worked for the State of Illinois as a caseworker. Nancy loved the St. Louis Cardinals, working puzzles, genealogy, cross-stitch, spending time outdoors watching animals and going out to eat. Most importantly she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Preceded in death by her Parents, Son – Christopher Lee Sullins, Brother – Robert Doty.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 10 am at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Sullins and Rev. Harvey Sullins officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
