Nina Lodine Gray

Marion Nina Lodine Gray, 86, formerly of Galatia, died Thursday, November 20, 2003 at 6:50 P.M. at Faith Inn elder care. Nina was born December 25, 1916 to Walter Elsworth and Nannie Belle (Green) Ragsdale in Galatia, Illinois. She married William Ranold Gray on September 13, 1935 and he preceded her in death on October 04, 1963. Nina was a Nurse at the State of Illinois Mental Health Dept in Elgin, Illinois for 25 years. Attended New Horizon Baptist Church in Marion. Survivors include: Son Ron Gray and wife Brenda of Genoa, Illinois 2 Daughters Loretta Gray Rudow and husband Allen of Surprise, Arizona Nancy Gray Parlberg and husband Wayne of Fulton, Texas Ten (10) Grandchildren Eighteen (18) Great Grandchildren Sister Jeanette Campbell of Galatia Special Nephew Bill Campbell of Energy Several nieces and nephews Preceded by Parents, Two (2) Sisters, One (1) Brother Funeral services will be held Monday, November 24, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Bill Schell officiating. A private burial service will be held at Weber Campground Cemetery in Galatia. Visitation will be Sunday, November 23 from 3:00 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, American Cancer Society, New Horizon Baptist Church or charity of choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
