Norma Joyce Peas

Norma Joyce Peas, age 88, of Bonnie, Illinois, formerly of Marion, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Stonebridge Nursing Center in Benton, Illinois.

Norma was born August 25, 1935 in Grayville, Illinois, a daughter of Frank and Leota (Paul) Glover. She grew up in Enfield, Illinois and graduated Enfield High School in 1954. She married Robert F. Peas on December 11, 1954. She and her husband moved to Marion, Illinois and she worked at Olin, retiring after 30 years. She was a member of 2nd Baptist Church in Marion and an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan. Norma loved cooking for her family and get togethers.

She is survived by her son, Randall L.(Tina) Peas of Bonnie, IL, and step sons Terry A. (Patricia) Peas of Lake In The Hills, IL, Robert G. (Nancy) Peas of Troy, TN, and Larry R. (Denise) Peas of Marion, IL; two grandchildren, Lindsay (Lou) Blaum and Ryan (Sara) Peas; eight step grandchildren and several great grandchildren; three brothers, Sherril (MaryJo) Glover of St. Louis, MO, Don (Charlene) Glover of Mill Shoals, IL, and Paul Glover of Carmi, IL. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert F. Peas; one daughter, Linda S. Averitt; and her parents, Frank and Leota Glover.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 21st, 2023 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Mitchell Hughes Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023, 12:00 PM at Mitchell Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Ashby Tillery officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion.
