Oscar Deon Clark

Herrin- OSCAR DEON CLARK, age 65, of Herrin, passed away at 11:45am on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at his home in Herrin. Oscar was born in Olmstead, Illinois on August 15, 1947, the son of Virgil and Bethana (Williams) Clark. He married Joan Keeling in Herrin on October 1, 1966. She survives. Mr. Clark was a member of the Herrin Church of God. He was a semi-retired truck driver for R & R Trucking. Survivors include his wife- Joan Clark of Herrin Four children- Oscar Deon Clark of Fort Wayne, IN Rhonda Lynn Clark of Fort Wayne, IN Shaun Clark of Huntington, IN Michael Clark of Kendallville, IN Fourteen Grandchildren Four Great Grandchildren Two brothers- Leon and Dennis Clark of Mount Vernon, IN Two sisters- Mildred and Paul Taylor of Herrin Wanda Clark of Herrin Best Friends- Johnny and Sue Shirley of Herrin He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother- Lee Clark and one sister- Roberta Clark. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Eric Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery.
