Paul Allen Cronin, 57, of Troy, Illinois formerly of Herrin, died Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at 7:34 P.M. in Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois.
Paul was born March 05, 1946 to Edward and Gladys (Neber) Cronin in Herrin. He married Doris Tino on March 28, 1974 in Las Vegas and she survives in Troy.
Paul was a 1968 graduate of SIU, received his masters degree from Pepperdine University. Paul was a Captain in the Air Force, C141 Pilot, Vietnam veteran and flew active combat campaigns in Vietnam and POWs out of Vietnam at the end of his military career. He was a manager for Southern Illinois Motor Express. He was a loving husband, best friend to his son and wonderful brother.

Memorial services will be, Saturday February 21, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. in Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Ward officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Gardens with Military Rites performed by the American Legion and V.F.W. Post of Herrin. Visitation will be Saturday from Noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
