Paula Denise Cotton

Herrin- Paula Denise Cotton (Norman), 52, passed away at 12:02 AM, Saturday, March 24, 2012 at her home in Herrin. Paula was born on November 30, 1959 in Chicago to James E. and Margaret Margie (Smith) Norman. For Paula, her children meant the world to her. Her love for laughter went hand-in-hand with her love of family. She enjoyed spending time with family, making them a big part in her life. In her younger years, she attended John A Logan College in Carterville. She also was member of the Protestant faith. Survivors include- Parents Jim and Margie Norman of Carterville Son Greg Cotton of Herrin Daughter - Kylee Cotton of Herrin Brother Bob Wells of St. Louis Sister Jamie Scheer and Husband Steve of St. Louis Sister Susan Cox of Denver, CO Nieces Jessica and Jenna Scheer of St. Louis Paula was loved by all that knew her and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev Jerry Schell and Rev. Don Colson will officiate. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery in Herrin. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Memorial donations are suggested to the Lone Oak Baptist Church and will be accepted at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home/ 201 S. 13th St./ Herrin, IL 62948.
