Pauline West

Pauline West, 70, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at 1:15 P.M. in Saline Care Center in Harrisburg. Pauline was born July 6, 1937 the daughter of James & Georgia (Kitchen) ONeal in Equality. She married Arvel West on February 23, 1956 in Shawneetown and together they were blessed with over 49 years of marriage until his death on December 31, 2005. Pauline was a homemaker. She attended Angelville Church. Pauline is survived by: Daughter Mary Lou Ashby and husband Paul of Pittsburg Two Grandsons; Eric Ashby and wife Melanie of Pittsburg Adam Ashby and wife Melissa of Johnston City Three Great Grandsons; Brayden Matthew Ashby of Pittsburg Ethan Robert Ashby of Pittsburg Adam Blake Ashby II of Johnston City Brother R.C. ONeal and wife Martha of Evansville, IN Two Sisters; Eilene Smiley of Marion Shirley Massey of Florida Sister-in-law Betty Traverso of Dolton, IL Several Nieces and Nephews Preceded by: Parents, Husband Arvel West, Two Sons Robert Arvel West and Jimmy Wayne West, Two Brothers Ed ONeal and Leon ONeal. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., November 7, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Jason Jean officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Poordo Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. For those who prefer memorials may be given to Mt. Pleasant Poordo Cemetery Fund and will be accepted at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
