Pauline Wood Fluck

Marion Pauline Wood Fluck, 94, passed away on Friday, December 04, 2009 at 1:20 A.M. at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Pauline was born September 3, 1915 in Carterville the daughter of Josheph & Mary Troutman. She married Imro Wood in Marion in October, 1950 and he preceded her in death on 1986. In August, 1989 she married Adolph Fluck in Marion and he preceded her in death in 2001. Pauline left Southern Illinois in 1949, living in Chicago and Los Angeles and returning to Marion in 1973. Upon her return she rekindled many old and made many more new friendships through her church, First Baptist of Marion, and civic activities. She was a loving wife and mother devoting her life to her family. Pauline had worked as a secretary at the Will County Courthouse. She is survived by: Son Harold Wood and wife Maria Grandson Erick Wood Preceded by Parents, Husbands, Sisters Beulah Gates, Opal Christy, Brothers Joseph Troutman, Jr., Walter Troutman and Gordon Troutman. Funeral services will be Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 2 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Gordon Lambert officiating. Visitation will be begin at Noon and continue until the time of service. Inurnment will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
