Peggy Fowler

Marion Peggy Fowler, 70, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 8:45 P.M. at her home. Peggy was born July 2, 1938 in Marion the daughter of Albert Wayne & Eva Lee (Cato) White. She married James Fowler on November 29, 1957 in Marion and together they shared over 39 years of marriage until his death on January 28, 1997. She retired from USF&G and she was of the Baptist Faith. Peggy is survived by; Son James Robert Fowler of Marion Two Sisters; Jane Newbold of Herrin Ann McClanahan and husband Jim of Marion Sister-in-law Jane Whitehead of Marion Several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Preceded by her Parents and Husband. Graveside services will be Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Union Grove Cemetery in Pittsburg with Rev. Jared Whitehead and Rev. Matt Troxel officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the cemetery. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
