Phillip D. Harris

Herrin- PHILLIP D. HARRIS, age 54, of Herrin, passed away at 9:23pm on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Phillip was born on December 1, 1951 in Bonifay, FL, the son of Lester and Lavada (French) Harris. He married Wendy Lynn Fuentes on December 16, 1979 in Gritney, FL and together they shared 26 years of marriage. She survives of Herrin. Mr. Harris was the Administrator of Computers at the I.T. Department in Salem. Survivors include- Wife- Wendy Lynn (Fuentes) Harris- Herrin, IL Daughter- Ruth Ann Nelson- Herrin, IL Son- Paul Nelson- Chicago Ridge, IL Daughter- Amanda Harris- Herrin, IL Two Grandchildren- Paigh and Ehryn McMillan- Herrin, IL Two Brothers- Harold Bud and Pam Harris- Sullivan, IL Chris and Elaine Harris- Gritney, FL Two Sisters- Nel and Mike Patrizzi- Ozark, IL Virginia and Marc Michel- Mishawaka, IN Phillip was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 13, 2006 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with the Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery.
