PHYLLIS A. POOCH PARKS, age 75, of Marion, passed away at 4:10 A.M. on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Hospice of Marion County in Summerfield, Florida.
Phyllis was born December 21, 1934 in Marion, the daughter of Cecil & Gladys (Wynn) Stroud. She married Everett Parks on August 30, 1954 in Marion and together they shared over 42 years of marriage until his death on April 19, 1997.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Son David Parks and wife Barbara of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee
Grandson Nickolis Parks of Belleview, Florida
Granddaughter Terri Hanson and husband Christopher of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee
Two Great Grandchildren Sarah & Eric Hanson of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee
Sister Shirley Longman and husband Walter of Jacksonville, Florida
Several nieces and nephews
Preceded by her Parents, Husband Everett, Son Keith Parks, Sister Lucille Stroud, Two Brothers Oren Stroud and Roland Coonce.
Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Walter Longman officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Energy. Visitation will be held from 5-8 P.M. on Friday, April 30, 2010 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
