Phyllis Vinyard

Marion- PHYLLIS VINYARD, age 78, of Marion, passed away peacefully at 2:25am on Sunday, December 23, 2007 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky. Phyllis was born on November 6, 1929 in Belton, Missouri, the daughter of C.L. and Dorethea (Palmer) Lawrence. She and her husband, Paul, shared fifty-eight years of marriage. He survives in Marion. Mrs. Vinyard was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church in West Frankfort. She was a homemaker. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband- Paul Vinyard of Marion, IL Four sons- Byron Vinyard of Steeleville, IL Kevin and Linda Vinyard of Marion, IL Sean Vinyard of Goreville, IL Christian and Monica Vinyard of Paducah, IL Eight grandchildren Three great grandchildren One brother- Richard Lawrence of Harrisburg, IL One sister- Ann Easley of Vienna, IL Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and one son-Weylin Vinyard. A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Elizabethtown with Father Trevor Murry officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Josephs Catholic Cemetery in Elizabethtown. There will be no visitation. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is handling arrangements.
