R. Maxine Bradley, 92, of Marion, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2011 at 3:35 A.M. at Parkway Manor.
Maxine was born September 11, 1918 in Williamson County the daughter of Raymond and Octavia (North) Russell. She married James Bradley on September 13, 1940 in Missouri and together they shared over 61 years of marriage until his death on December 21, 2001.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Disciples of Christ Christian Church where she had served as a Deacon. Maxine also held a regional office in the church. She was past president of the Christian Womens Fellowship and lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary.

Son Richard Halbin and wife Donna of Mt. Vernon
Four grandchildren;
Kathleen Segretario of Niles, Michigan
Frederick Halbin and wife Brenda of Bluford
Timothy Halbin of Mt. Vernon
Angela Carter and husband Damon of Marion
Granddaughter in law Virginia Halbin
Seventeen great grandchildren
Seven great great grandchildren
Preceded by her Parents, Husband James, Grandson Jeffrey Halbin
Funeral services will be Friday, June 3, 2011 at 11 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Rucker officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 10 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
