Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home Ralph R. Richmond-Obituary Herrin-Ralph R. Richmond, 76, passed away 3:13 P.M., Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky. Ralph was born September 9, 1927 in Williamson County to John M. & Dottie (Martin) Richmond. He was retired having worked for Famous Barr. He was a WW II Navy Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion. Survivors Include: Brother & Sister In Law: Bruce & Elizabeth Richmond of Murphysboro Nephew: Johnnie Richmond of Herrin Nephew: Rev. Larry Richmond of OFallon Nephew: Michael Richmond of Hartsville, SC. Niece: Susan Morris of Murphysboro, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Johnnie and Harold Richmond, sisters, Aileen Murphy and Genevieve Lemke. Graveside services will be 10:30 A.M., Friday, May 14th, 2004 at Herrin City Cemetery with Rev. Larry Richmond officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by Herrin American Legion and VFW Posts. Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home.
