Randy C. Schaubert

Goreville- Randy C. Schaubert, 41, of Goreville, died at 5:20 AM, Saturday, July 26, 2003 at his home with his family. Randy was born on August 12, 1961 in Marion to Pola & Phyllis (Pentecost) Schaubert. He married Teri Turner on June 24, 1995 in Gatlinburg, TN. She survives of Goreville. Mr. Schaubert was a corrections officer at the United States Penitentiary in Marion. He was a member of the Special Operations Response Team (SORT) and enjoyed weightlifting. He was a member of the Marion Third Baptist Church. SURVIVORS: Wife- Teri Schaubert- Goreville Mother- Phyllis Schaubert- Marion Sister & bro in law- Sandra & Jerry Almaroad- Marion Three Nephews: Jeremy Ollis Ryan Ollis Quentin Shewcraft He was preceded in death by his father. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM, Tuesday, July 29, 2003 at the Third Baptist Church in Marion. Rev. Jerry Ford and Rev. Kenneth Blumenstock will officiate. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be from 5-8:00 PM, Monday, July 28, 2003 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or to the Special Operations Response Team and will be accepted at both the funeral home and the church.
