RAYMOND G. BROWDER Marion Raymond G. Browder, 79, died Monday, July 07, 2003 at 8:45 P.M. in Marion. Raymond was born January 27, 1924 in Martwick, KY to William M. & Dehlia (Pate) Browder. He married Lois Ann (Campbell) Browder on October 17, 1944 in Marion. She preceded him in death on April 22, 1995. Raymond was retired from the Marion Unit #2 School District Maintenance Dept.. He had formally worked at American Creosote & Tie Company and Sangamo Electric Company. Raymond was a Veteran of the US Navy and a life member of Marion Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Survivors include: 1 Son Stephen L. Browder of Goreville 1 Sister Joan Kurak of Chicago Several nieces & nephews Preceded by: Parents, 4 Brothers Eugene Browder, Cecil Browder, William C. Browder and Archie Browder. 1 Sister Lynn Ceaser Visitation will be Thursday, July 10, 2003 from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, July 11, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Rev. Kenneth Kramer will officiate. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
