Raymond Gee

Marion Raymond Gee, 95, of Marion passed away on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 9:40 A.M. as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident. Raymond was born October 3, 1914 in Tallapoosa, Missouri the son of Arthur & Mandy (Norman) Gee. He married Virginia Gee on December 1, 1943 in Lake City, Missouri and together they shared over 56 years of marriage until her death on May 19, 2000. He was a retired laborer and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include; Son Edward Gee of Cobden Eight Grandchildren; Clyde Gee and wife Phyllis of West Frankfort Lisa Hunsaker of Johnson City Steve Gee and wife Diane of Wausau, WI Jimmy Gee and wife Michelle of Wausau, WI Chris Gee and wife Jennifer of Marion Teddy Gee of Marion Corey Gee of Belleville Seven Great Grandchildren Two Sisters; Lucille Miller of Knoxville, TN Omah Mylam of California In addition to his wife he is also preceded by his Parents, Son Jim Gee and Brother Randsom Gee. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 1 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Gilbert Gee officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
