Marion- Raymond R. Pappy Hollingsworth, 55, formerly of Herrin and St. Louis, MO, died at 8:30 PM, Friday, October 24, 2008 at his home at the Lake of Egypt.
Raymond was born on April 12, 1953 in St. Louis, MO to John Raymond & Rose (Dattoli) Hollingsworth.
Mr. Hollingsworth was a jack of all trades and at one time worked as an emergency medical technician, certified electrician, and security guard for various area business including, Sprint and the Good Samaritan House in Carbondale.
Pappy was an avid collector and had quite an assortment of HO model trains and rare coins. He was a member of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons in Clayton, MO. He attended Hillview Acre Church in Hillsborough, MO. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Daughter & son in law- Jaima & Brian Hartline of Cypress, IL
Son- Raymond Hollingswoth of Yuma, AZ

Former wife- Kathy Maze of Yuma, AZ
Sister- Geneva Freick of St. Louis, MO
Sister & brother in law- Kathleen & Tony Barnes of St. Louis, MO
Brother & sister in law- Charles & Irene Lorts of Fenton, MO
Several nieces & nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents.
It was Raymonds sincere wish that his body be donated to Southern Illinois University- Carbondale for anatomical study. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM, Thursday, October 30, 2008 at the Cypress Village Hall in Cypress, IL. Memorial arrangements were made by Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
