Reba L. Bartram

Herrin- REBA L. BARTRAM, age 86, of Herrin, passed away at 7:00am on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at her home. Reba was born in Herrin on January 10, 1921, the daughter of Robert and Freda (Holland) Lewis. She married Sidney Haynes in Cape Girardeau in August of 1938. They shared 32 years of marriage, until his passing on October 19, 1969. In November of 1973, Reba married Irvin Bartram in Las Vegas. They shared 28 years of marriage, until his passing on February 10, 2001. Survivors include- Three daughters- Connie and Melvin Hicks of Fort Worth, TX Brenda and Richard Blair of Spokane, WA Anita Haynes of Herrin, IL Six grandchildren- Dennis and Lindie Gyles of Pasco, WA Tina and Storm Younger of Missoula, MT Wayne and Isabel Thompson of Amarillo, TX Lea and Brian Hesterlee of Spokane, WA Damon Blair of Spokane, WA Ryan Renfrow of Palmdale, CA Eleven great grandchildren Two great great grandchildren Mrs. Bartram was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, and one grandson- Danny Gyles. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, September 17, 2007 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Pastor Chuck Upperly officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date at the Desert Lawn Cemetery in Palmdale, CA. For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made to the Herrin City Library.
