Rebecca Rose (Baize) Hamberg

Herrin- Rebecca Rose (Baize) Hamberg, age 33, of Herrin, passed away suddenly at 5:51pm on Friday, September 25, 2015 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Rebecca was born in St. Louis, MO on February 24, 1982. She was raised the daughter of Katherine (Cliff) Coulter and Paul Edward Baize. Survivors include her son- Isaiah Gibson of Marion Son- Gaven Hagler of West Frankfort Son- Mason Hamberg of Marion Mother- Katherine Coulter of Elkville Father- Paul Edward Baize of Herrin Biological Father- Charles and Kim Venable of Christopher Sister- Jessica Phoenix of Mt. Vernon Sister- Michelle Palmer of Herrin Half-Sister- Amy Schandl of Pinckneyville Maternal Grandfather- Raymond Cliff of Elkville Paternal Grandmother- Doris Baer of Trenton Paternal Grandmother- Janet Baize of Herrin Uncle- Edward Cliff of Herrin Aunt- Patricia Underwood of Elkville Several cousins She was preceded in death by her son- Brynden Gibson, maternal grandmother- Rose Marie Cliff, paternal grandfather- William Gene Baize, paternal grandfather- Charles H. Venable, and her aunt- Cathy Stewart. Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Bill Underwood officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Friday at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home.
