Rebecca Sue Foster

Herrin- Rebecca Sue Foster, age 62, of Herrin, passed away at 6:23pm on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Herrin Hospital.

Rebecca was born in Pinckneyville on October 24, 1958, the daughter of James and Peggy (Branum) Mattingly. She had married Bill Loos who preceded her in death on March 29, 2011. She married Michael Foster and he preceded her in death on August 20, 2015.

Prior to her retirement, Rebecca had worked as a dietary cook and DSP caregiver.

Survivors include-

Daughter- Billie Sue Howell of Herrin

Son- Samuel and Erin Loos of Zeigler

Daughter- Megan Loos of Herrin

Eight Grandchildren

Brother- Steve Mattingly of Dexter, Missouri

Several Nieces and Nephews

Host of Friends

Step-children

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, sister- Kathy Howell.

A time of visitation will be held from 4 to 6pm on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Cremation rites will follow visitation.
