Pittsburg Rex Pigg, 72, died Thursday, January 20, 2005 at 11:04 A.M. at the home of his son. Rex was born on February 05, 1932 to George and Donnie Pigg in Wayne County, Tennessee. He married Dannie Walker on August 02, 1952 in Mississippi and she survives in Pittsburg. Rex was a retired farmer. Survivors include: Wife Dannie Pigg of Pittsburg Three sons: Jamie Pigg of Pittsburg Jerry Pigg of Pittsburg Joe Pigg of Pittsburg Brother L.G. & Edna Mae Pigg of Perry County, Tennessee Sister Ethel Walker of Tennessee Several Nieces and Nephews Preceded by: Parents, Two Brothers Richard and Willie Pigg. Funeral services will be Monday, January 24, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. John Howat officiating. Burial will follow in Number 8 Cemetery in Pittsburg. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
