Herrin- RICHARD ALLEN SEXTON, age 42, went to be with his Lord at 12:10am on Friday, March 12, 2010 at his home in Herrin.
Richard was born in St Louis on May 29, 1967, but spent most of his life in Herrin. He loved life and had many friends. He never met a stranger. Rick had a passion for motorcycles and Nascar races. He worked construction and in his younger years, he was a certified nurses aide. He loved the elderly.

Richard was preceded in death by his father- Gary Sexton, his daughter- Kristy Lee Sexton, grandparents- Anita and Charlie Verga, grandparents- Eva and William Sexton, and special uncle- Lester Neilson.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Lee Wallace of Zeigler officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Church Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be held from 5-9pm on Monday, March 15, 2010 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
