– Richard D. Sumner, 60, of Marion, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015 at his home.
Richard was born October 11, 1955 in Alton the son of Leander and Sylvia (Kienker) Sumner.
He was a member of Painter’s Local Union #58 and had worked as a self-employed union painter.
Richard is survived by his Sister – Rosclar Miller, Niece – Cindi Bailey, Nephew – Craig Miller, three step-children - Ashley, Gregory, Michael, and just to name a few of his many many friends Phil, Renee, Jody, Keith, Paula and Russell, Donna and Dale, Rodney, Kerrie and Belinda.
He is preceded by his Parents and brother – Junior Sumner.
In accordance with his wishes Richard will be cremated and a Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Rameses Lounge, 1754 IL-37, Marion.
