Richard Eisenhauer, 91, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 1:30 pm at Marion Rehab.
Richard was born January 11, 1923 in Franklin County the son of Fred H. and Cora (Stephens) Eisenhauer.
He proudly answered the call to serve his country during WWII. Richard was a member of the 101st Airbourne Division. He retired from Carbondale Memorial Hospital where he had worked in housekeeping. He was a member of Minor Christian Church.
Survivors include his;
Brother – Perry D. Eisenhauer and wife Iona of Benton
Brother – Leslie E. Eisenhauer and wife Areta of Johnston City
Brother – Leon D. Eisenhauer and wife Jeannette of Mahomet
Several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his Parents.
Funeral services will Friday, February 21, 2014 at Noon at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Burial will follow in Zeigler Cemetery with military rites performed by members of Marion VFW Post #1301, American Legion Post #147 and members of the National Guard. Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
