Herrin- Richard Glen Craig, 61, of Herrin, passed away at 3:00 AM, Monday, March 13, 2006 at his home.
Mr. Craig was born on January 7, 1945 in Chicago to Alma Faye Williams. He married Florence Nolan on October 3, 1971 in Marion. She survives of Herrin.
He was a US Army veteran. He was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam era. He worked for Maytag in Herrin for 39 years prior to his retirement. He won various awards while at Maytag, including perfect attendance and membership in the Quarter Century Club.

He was preceded in death by his mother, sister- Judy Bennett & one aunt- Ruth Nafe.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 16, 2006 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral in Herrin. Rev. Don Colson will officiate. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Military rites will be provided at graveside by the Herrin VFW & American Legion Posts. Visitation will be from 5-8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at the funeral home.
