Richard Roubik

Marion- RICHARD L. ROUBIK, age 76, of Marion, passed away at 9:54pm on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Herrin Hospital. Richard was born in Chicago on March 18, 1933, the son of Louis and Anna (Pinc) Roubik. He married Sandra J. Bentley on November 17, 1962 at the Little Flower Church in Chicago, IL. She survives in Marion. Mr. Roubik was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church in Marion. He retired from IBM customer service. Richard loved to fish in the Lake of Egypt. Survivors include his wife- Sandra J. Roubik of Marion, IL Three sons- Kenneth R. and Robin Roubik of Richardson, TX Thomas M. and Maria Roubik of Libertyville, IL Jeffrey R. and Tammy Roubik of Dallas, TX Three Grandchildren- Audrey, Camille, and Hannah Roubik Two sisters- Eleanor Hradek and Lorraine Sobieszek A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 7, 2009 at St Josephs Catholic Church in Marion, with Father Richard Mohr and Reverend Monsignor Thomas D. Flach officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Sunday, December 6, 2009 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with a prayer service being held at 5pm on Sunday evening at the funeral home.
