Robbie Lon Hardcastle

Herrin- ROBBIE LON HARDCASTLE, age 39, of Herrin, passed away at 7:23am on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Robbie was born in Herrin on June 5, 1969, the son of Bob A. and Barbara J. (Fox) Hardcastle. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin and was self-employed. Robbie loved his music and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his parents- Bob and Barbara Hardcastle of Lake of Egypt One Son- Ian Hardcastle of Lake of Egypt Step-Daughter- Brooke Bowlin of Christopher, IL Life Partner- Glenda Hendley of Herrin, IL Two Sister- Angelynn Heavener-Rothlubbers and husband Bob of St. Louis, MO Lori J. Meier of Highland, IL Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins Two Nieces- Michelle Crawshaw and Amber Meier Two Nephews- Garrett Meier and Logan Meier Great Niece-Harley Crawshaw Great Nephew- Rayce Crawshaw Two Special Cousins- Mike Hardcastle and Billy Reagan Many close friends Robbie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents- Lonnie and Jo Fox; his paternal grandparents- Ben and Nan Hardcastle; his great grandparents- Charlie and Vickie Magnotti and his cousin- Kyle Lynn Magnotti. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Monsignor Ken Schaefer officiating. Burial will follow at San Carlo Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9-11am on Saturday at the funeral home. For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made to the Herrin Food Pantry.
