Robert C. Enders

Robert C. Enders, 80, of Marion passed away on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 7:25 P.M. at his home. Robert was born August 10, 1950 in Chicago the son of Henry & Gertrude Enders. He married Beverly Hayes in Des Plaines and she passed away on November 25, 1996. He later married Doris Leitner on December 27, 1997 in Des Plaines and she survives in Marion. He was a veteran, proudly serving in the Marines and the Army. Robert was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ and he was a retired over the road truck driver. In addition to his wife he is survived by: Sons; Larry Enders and wife Leslie of Hoffman Estates James Enders and wife Clare of Gurnee Michael Leitner and wife Karen of Sleepy Hollow Daniel Leitner and wife Cindi of Carol Stream Daughter Kimberly Labuz and husband Joseph of St. Paul, Minnisota Thirteen grandchildren One great grandchild Several nieces and nephews Many loving and caring friends Preceded by his Parents, First Wife Beverly and 2 Brothers A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 11 A.M. at the Zion United Church of Christ with Pastor John Holtz officiating. Following the service a luncheon will be served at the church. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery following funeral services in DesPlaines, Illinois. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements. For those who prefer memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or the Zion UCC Scout Troop.
