He started working for his father at the age of 9, washing dishes while standing on a milk crate at New Era Dairy. He continued working for his father his entire adult life. Together they opened restaurants (Family Fun, Prime Time, Shenanigans) and built the Best Inns Motels Corp. He immortalized his fathers legacy by forming the Robert N. Brewer Family Foundation. Although neither achieved higher than a high school education, they enabled over 434 students the opportunity to obtain college degrees.
Denver was a Master Mason and very proud of his accomplishment. He enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. He especially enjoyed talking cars and hot rods with his brother Dan and his good friends LeRoy, Shane, Shawn, Buddy, and other gearheads.
In recent years, Denver spent time enjoying the solitude of country life, rescuing needy animals and raising miniature donkeys. Anyone whoever met or knew Denver came away having learned something, whether they liked him personally or not.
His newest loves were Madison and Morgan, his two granddaughters. Upon seeing them his smile would light up a room. There was no denying who were PePaws little girls.
Forrest he raised as his son and was proudest when he joined the U.S. Navy. Marie Delaney will always be his sister, regardless of bloodlines. He leaves behind many dear friends, both two legged and four legged. He will be greatly missed by all.
Immediately following graveside services the RNBFF will be open to the community for tours.
