Benton- ROBERT N. THROGMORTON, age 52, of Benton, passed away at 2:45pm on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at his home in Benton. Robert was born in Detroit, MI, the son of Geraldine (Snider) and Norman Throgmorton, Jr. He worked as a truck driver. Survivors include: Sister and brother-in-law- Linda and Richard Ratzloff of Farmington Hills, MI Close friend- Rosemary Stroud of Benton, IL (and her children and grandchildren whom Robert was very fond of) Nephew- Scott Ratzloff of Wixom, MI Nephew- Mike and Becky Ratzloff of Farmington, MI Great nephew- Michael Ratzloff of Farmington, MI Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside memorial services will be held at 10am on Monday, August 9, 2010 at Herrin City Cemetery with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Friends and family are asked to gather directly at the cemetery. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with arrangements.
