Robert Wayne Skelton

Carbondale- Robert Wayne Skelton, Jr, age 23, of Carbondale, passed away at his residence in Carbondale at 8:05am on Friday, August 31, 2007. Robert was born in Carbondale on October 6, 1983, the son of Robert Wayne Skelton, Sr. He loved to fish and enjoyed his fishing trips with his Uncle LeRoy. Survivors include his father- Robert Wayne Skelton, Sr. of Carbondale, IL One Sister- Nicole Skelton of Carbondale, IL Uncle- LeRoy and Sandy Skelton of Carbondale, IL Uncle- Lewis Skelton of Carbondale, IL Aunt- Kim and Bill Cowan of Carbondale, IL Aunt- Linda Mocaby of West Frankfort, IL Nieces- Amanda, Tabitha, and Samantha And many Friends Robert was preceded in death by his grandparents- Eugene and Gertrude Skelton. Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at the Church of God in Carbondale with Rev. Frankie Starrick officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Buncombe. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Monday, September 3, 2007 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
