Herrin- ROBYN L. CLOUD, age 44, of Herrin, passed away at 5:03pm on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Herrin Hospital. Robyn was born in Carbondale on April 25, 1966, the daughter of Marieta (Van Zandt) Launius and Charles Edward Swalls. She was a school teacher, specializing in special education. Survivors include two daughters- Julie Ann Cloud of Herrin, IL Lindsey Cloud of Herrin, IL Two Grandchildren- Zakyra and Davon Hopkins of Herrin, IL Mother- Marieta Launius of Herrin, IL Father- Charles E. and Lana Swalls of Roanoke, TX Three brothers- Tom Swalls of Chicago, IL Matt and Karna Swalls of Carterville, IL Derek and Kendra Swalls of Roanoke, TX Sister- Lanette and Chuck Walter of North Carolina Several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Memorial services will be held at 1pm on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Mark Hutson officiating. Visitation will be held from noon to 1pm on Friday at the funeral home.
