Roger Dale Bozarth

Marion- Roger Dale Bozarth, age 61, of Marion, passed away at 3:02pm on Friday, September 15, 2017 at his home in Marion. Roger was born in Marion on January 25, 1956, the son of Herman and Olga (Meadows) Bozarth. Prior to his retirement, he had worked as a painter and drywall finisher. Survivors include his three children- Mandy and James Weinel of Marion, Dale Ray Bozarth of Marion, and Chastity and Jerry Hastings of Lakeland, FL; Grandchildren- Raven Stone, Cheyanne Bennett, Corbyn Weinel, Marina Del’Raye Bozarth, Alexis Poole, Jayda Hastings, and Tyler Hastings; one great granddaughter- Brynlee Poole; Three brothers- Bill Bozarth, Bob Bozarth, and Rick Lindsey; and one sister- Margie Powell. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife- Mary Ann (Norris) Bozarth, his ex-wife- Ruth Ann (Bedwell) Bozarth-Kent, brother- John Bozarth, niece- Olga Michelle Dodd, and nephew- Anthony “Tony” Dodd. Memorial services to celebrate Roger’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Don Colson officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Friday at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
