Rosalie Harris

Marion Rosalie Harris, 72, died Monday, March 21, 2005 at 3:50 P.M. in Parkway Manor. Rosalie was born October 05, 1932 in Spillertown to Arlie & Gertrude (Crain) Stowers. She married Herbert Harris on Christmas Day in 1949 in Spillertown. He preceded her in death on December 06, 1978. Rosalie worked for National Transformer in Johnston City for a number of years. She was a member of Whiteash Community Church. Rosalie is survived by: Her Daughter Connie Germann and husband John R. of the Lake of Egypt Granddaughter Bethany Perry of Carterville Two Great Granddaughters: Alyssa Perry of Carterville McKayla Perry of Carterville Preceded by: Parents, Husband Herbert, Daughter Karen Madding, Brother Gene Stowers and Sister Kathryn Reinhardt. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 11:00 A.M at Blairsville Cemetery with Rev. Ed Martin officiating. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of arrangements. For those who prefer memorials may be given to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
