Rose Dunning

Herrin- Rosanna Dunning, 79, of Herrin, passed away at 9:25 AM, Sunday, May 6, 2007 at Herrin Hospital. Rosanna was born on January 25, 1928 in Massac Co to Cody & Mary Denison. She married Paul Bunk Dunning on January 29, 1949 in Osceola, AR. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1980. She was a homemaker. Survivors include- Daughter & son in law- Donna & Tony Gates of Marion Son- Michael Dunning of Herrin Grandchild- Amy Oakley of Herrin Grandchild- Cameron Gates of Herrin Grandchild- Shara Rushing of Marion Grandchild- Shana Green & husband Adam of Louisville, KY Great Grandchildren- Kalie & Tristan Wallace of Herrin Great Grandchildren- Brittany & Dakota Rushing of Marion Great Grandchildren- Kierra Morehead & Trent Green of Louisville, KY Brother & sister in law- Leonard & Donna Denison- St. Charles, IL Brother & sister in law- Tom & Delores Denison- Philippine Islands Several nieces & nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers; James, Lowell, George, Will & Walter and three sisters; Marie Riley, Sara Baldwin & Mary Warren. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Pastor Brad Dunning will officiate. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home.
