Herrin- ROSE MARY MAGYAR, age 74, of Herrin, passed away at 2:15am on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at her residence in Herrin. Rose Mary was born in Herrin on November 13, 1932 to Joseph and Jeanette (Ferguson) Martino. She married Joseph Magyar on April 15, 1992 in Herrin. He survives. Mrs. Magyar was a member of Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. Survivors include her husband- Joseph Magyar of Herrin; 4 sons- Wayne and Shirley Hunt of Spartenburg, SC, Mark A. Hunt of Spartenburg, SC, Richard L. Hunt of Denver, CO, Brett M. and Debra Hunt of Spartenburg, SC; Six Grandchildren- Christine M. Good, Robin Hunt, Holly L. Harider, Richard L. Hunt, Jr., Rebella M. Hunt, and Johnathon Hunt; 4 Great Grandchildren- Taylor C. Turner, Cortney Rowe, Jack Harider, and Isabella Harider; Brother- George and Colette Martin of Goreville, IL. Mrs. Magyar was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband- Wayne B. Hunt Sr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Monsignor Ken Schaefer officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-9pm on Friday, December 8, 2006 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
