Herrin- Rose Mary Waldron, age 77, of Herrin, passed away at 10:20pm on June 9, 2018 at her home in Herrin.
Rose was born in Herrin on June 23, 1940, the daughter of John C. and Ima Pauline (Ideus) Ladd. She married Richard N. Waldron in Herrin on June 29, 1963. He preceded her in death on June 27, 1998.
Rose was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Herrin. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a secretary and receptionist, including Third Baptist Church in Marion, where she served as their secretary. Rose volunteered at House of Hope for as long as she was physically able.

Sister-in-law- Janet Ladd of Zeigler
Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson- Jonathon Waldron, and four brothers- infant twins Ronald and Donald Ladd, Floyd Ladd, and John Michael Ladd.
Memorial services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Don Colson officiating. Inurnment will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 11am until 1pm on Thursday at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home.
