Roy King

Marion Roy J. King, 61, died on Monday December 10, 2007 at 7:30 P.M. at his home. Roy was born September 11, 1946 in Urbana, Illinois the son of Roy James & Mary Aleen (Kimble) King. He married Elizabeth Thompson on August 23, 1982 in Marion and she preceded him in death on October 20, 1996. Roy proudly served during the Vietnam War in the Navy. He has worked for Pepsi Mid-America for over 20 years. He is survived by: Fianc Patty Besix of Marion Four Sons; Timothy King and wife Courtney of Amarillo, TX Roy Todd King and wife Christy of Tunnel Hill Robert Wayne King of Amarillo, TX Shawn Michael King & wife Lora of Normal, IL Daughter Crystal Lynn King & fianc David Bear of Peoria, IL Eight Grandchildren; Riley King Seara King Lucas John King Zachary Michael King David L. Bear III Gavin L. King Michael Wagner Andrew Wagner Two Sisters; Mary Craig and husband Bill of Elkhart, IN Carolyn Henson of Sacramento, CA Preceded by Parents, Wife Elizabeth, Three sisters, Judy, Linda and Pat Funeral services will be Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Ron Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills. Military rites will be presented by Herrins VFW Post and American Legion Post. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
