Ruby Reese

Ruby (Troxel) Reese, 85, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 3:07 P.M. at her daughters home in Marion. Ruby was born in Commerce, Missouri the daughter of Tom & Mattie Shipman on January 30, 1926. She married Paul Junior Reese on June 21, 1941 in Charleston, Missouri and together they shared over 67 years of marriage, until his death on May 31, 2009. Ruby attended Marions 1st Church of God and she dedicated her life to caring for her family and her home. Survivors include; Two daughters; Paula Rentfro of Marion Jennifer Rich of Marion Six grandchildren; Tammy Morris and husband Dennis of Ozark Wayne Boaz and wife Kim of Creal Springs Melissa Malloy and husband Howard of Antelope, California Jerry West and fianc Melissa Crites of Johnston City Patricia Shadowens and husband Brian of Marion Brian West of Marion Eleven Great Grandchildren Brother Logan Troxel of Creal Springs Sister-in-law Sue Goodwin Several nieces and nephews Brother-in-law Lloyd and Joy Reese of Marion Special Friend James Holland of Bush Preceded by her Parents, Husband Paul, Daughter Beverly Lynne West, Four Brothers and One Sister. Funeral services will be Friday, July 8, 2011 at 11 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Tibbs officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 9 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
